Riding the Kettle Valley Rail Trail?

We’re easy to get to from the KVR Trail!

Storia Vale is a 15 minute mostly downhill detour by bike (6.2km) away from the KVR and has been a convenient rest point for cyclists of the trail.

(30 minutes on the way back as it is an uphill ride)

How to get from the trail to the camp:

  • When The Kettle Valley Rail Trail intersects with Okanagan Falls Road turn left.

  • Take a right at the intersection of Okanagan Falls Road and McCulloch Road.

  • When McCulloch Road reaches Rock Creek Highway 33 take a right and proceed south on the highway for 5km.

  • Painted Cliffs Private Road is clearly marked with a street sign and easily visible from the Highway.

  • Ride onto Painted Cliffs and proceed right to the 9046 address at Lot #11.

  • The driveway is clearly signed with street address number, lot number, and Storia Vale signage.
